The Sisters of the Presentation of Mary are called to live in a state of worship and self-oblation and to participate in the teaching mission of the Church by the Christian education of youth with special attention to the poor and the destitute.

OUR SPIRITUALITY

The spirit of the Presentation of Mary is a wholly interior spirit based on the spirit of Jesus Christ. To know Jesus Christ in the Gospel, to live Jesus Christ in his mysteries, to reveal and to teach Jesus Christ by our whole life: such is our vocation.

Two mysteries enraptured our Foundress and inspired the spirituality she left us: the mystery of the Temple or the presence of God and the mystery of Christ's and Mary's oblation.

OUR MISSION

Faithful to the intentions of our Foundress,
blessed Marie Rivier, the "Woman Apostle"
we share in the teaching mission of the Church
by the Christian education of youth.
We go preferably toward those who are little and poor
whom Christ loved above all.
His compassion also impels us to help
the most needy persons of our society.

Our apostolic zeal knows neither frontiers, nor race, nor nations.
Missionary ardor must dwell at the heart of the Congregation.

Everywhere and at all times, we are presence of Jesus Christ,
annunciation of the Gospel of Mercy.
